Touch is sent to and processed by your brain via receptors located throughout your skin. It is the main sensory system that directs your personal-space choices. In order to feel “comfortable” and “nurtured”, your brain automatically chooses to avoid or seek touch stimuli. The decision it makes depends on your unique touch threshold… So, are you a touch-seeker or a touch-avoider?
