Fiona has over 30 years of experience in Corporate IT and Management. Having been a client of Sensory Intelligence® Consulting, she has experienced the effect and impact that simple sensory changes can have in a high-pressure work environment. She consults on our IT and development projects.

On completing her degree at the University of Cape Town (many many years ago!), she traveled to Europe and started her professional career freelancing as an IT developer. Driven by a desire to return to Africa she accepted the role of IT Director for an international BPO based in Cape Town. Fiona is not averse to change or challenges and has experienced first hand the craziness of today’s world, her drive is to see Sensory Intelligence becoming a “house hold term”.

So much of our lives is taken up by work and situations we don’t always want to be in, everyone should at least be given the chance to understand and choose the environment best suited to them.

After what seems like a lifetime in 5-star hotels being exposed to Operations, Human Resources and Sales & Marketing, COVID changed the career landscape for Alison.

She joined Sensory Intelligence® in July 2021 and began the transition to working from home.

Quite a change for a married, full-time working mum with two children and two fur children – Lemon and Ella, both very needy and loving rescue dogs.

3 months later she was loving the autonomy over her life and is very excited to be learning about Sensory Intelligence® and all that the field encompasses.

The impact it has in so many spheres of daily life, family, work, wellness and mental health is amazing.
