Sensory Stories # 7: Why I vlog
Posted: 4 February, 2022
By: Annemarie Lombard
In this video, Annemarie shares a more personal journey of the final connection she made with her PhD supervisor (Dr Ruth Watson) 6 weeks before she passed away. Neither of them knew that would be their last conversation and her final words to Annemarie were “you should write more”.
So this might not be “writing” exactly, but it is sharing information and content. Annemarie continues to honour Dr Watson’s influence in her life, her legacy and the impact she had on her journey by creating these videos. She played a key role in helping Annemarie achieve her PhD degree in 2012.
Here’s to all the mentors, coaches, and influencers out there who support, encourage and help us be better at life.
Watch her vlog to hear the whole story.
