Whenever we choose clothing to wear, one considers three things: colour, texture and style.
Colour is processed by the visual system while texture is processed by the tactile system. Both these stimuli involve the sensory system and therefore interact with our unique sensory wiring. The style of clothing that you wear is also a very particular preference. All these factors come together to provide an individual with a certain level of comfort – ideally avoiding irritation and distraction.
Watch the video to learn more about your sensory thresholds and how this influences your choice of clothing.
