Why do so many people find the sea calming? In this vlog, Annemarie explores what makes the sea calming and why many people find it helps relieve stress and calm the senses.
The long extension of blue and perhaps merging of simple colours results in little visual noise. The visual of flowing water seems quiet and contained. The rumble of waves in the background offers soothing sounds. This makes the sea an ideal place to self-regulate, calm your senses and get yourself to ‘reset‘.
