1. Framework Introduction – 15 Minutes
We’ll introduce the sensory processing framework and explore why people can experience the same environment differently. You’ll see how sensory thresholds influence responses to environmental input and why these differences matter in design.

2. Real World Case Studies – 30 Minutes

We’ll share case studies from our Practitioners group, showing how sensory assessments help us understand individual and group Sensory Identities™ and identify patterns in how people experience their environments. Depending on the context, this may include insights from the Sensory Matrix™ or Senses@Work™ assessments. We’ll explore how to translate those insights into practical design considerations.

The case studies demonstrate how sensory data can provide another layer of human insight for architects, interior designers, workplace professionals, and other professionals shaping environments.

Each case study will be developed in collaboration with Dr Annemarie Lombard and prepared for publication to strengthen the evidence base underpinning professional practice.
